Unfortunate if buy BRL and sell another currency then the price of BRL what matters and not Brazilian economy.

As a side remark - if economic growth is robust then it attracts investment from overseas and then the CB must raise interest rates to steam inflation - as such the currency appreciates

The value of the BRL v other currencies is an issue of perception and relativity
