Exactly! And 'progressive' will do until their nature has worn down and hollowed out that new term of theirs to the level, where everybody knows what it means and nobody wants to carry the sheer load of that any longer.
That's when they cling to some new label sounding better - for some time until the smells of it makes them chasing a new and better tag.
Truly pathetic when people of certain kinds constantly remain on the run into hiding from their own shadow, from their own liberal, progressive or what-have-you identity.
