The problem with the GOP isn't racism. It's that they have deviated substantially from their principles. And guys like Charlie Crist are leading the deviation.

I agree with you on the principles argument, assuming we are talking about smaller government, fiscal responsibility, respect for personal freedoms. What Crist (and others) are pointing out is that the principles won't be listened to if the Republican Party is seen by voters they must, simply must, win over as the party of Barack the Magic Negro.

As noted, strength in Alaska and the South aren't enough to win a national election. The Republicans have to reacquire voters in the midwest, upper South and win converts in other parts of the Country. The current demographics don't favor them unless they get back to the real underlying libertarian, fiscally responsible message and get away from the "nonsense" of potential party leaders sending out spoof records like the above...
