Perhaps that is because CNBC just had Michael Metz on the air. He was congratulating himself for predicting the end of the world as we know it successfully. He has been predicting it for months (years?) now and it, in his opinion is coming true and it is all over for the investor.
Sell everything, because we have seen the market high through the end of 1998. This is the end of the 'new paradigm' and he, Metz, is glad to see it. He has had years, and years, of experience and it wasn't applying to the 'new paradigm' so it is good to see this oncoming meltdown that will return the 'paradigm' to the one that he knows.....
