Israel cannot route out hizbo and probably hamas. How can they take out irans nukes without either US backing or significant US assistance? Iraq war as weakening iran is nonsense. Its a net postive for them, not negative now that shiass are in control. I suspect we are going to have to learn to contain and deter iran the way we did with the soviets. However that wont work if the iranians are indeed nuts. I dont think they are and we should both hope so.
