I hear you but please note that its just way too simple to blame everything on bush. On the economy what about Bob Rubin. The Clinton folks were committed to making everyone a homeowner. As far as New Orleans, what about dem mayor and dem governor? Think they didnt have something to do with the failure there?? As far as iraq goes, dont be that sure that dems wouldnt have done the same thing. Clinton was no friend of saddam and might have jumped at the chance to remove him. Also plenty of dems were onboard with bush policy. The bigger failure of bush was the way the war was fought. What would have happened if powell or gates ran DOD, not rummy? Perhaps war delayed or cancelled but if fought, maybe fought in a way where the result might better and quicker.
