As detailed in thread header. ESA was originally a SPAC (or Blank Check) company called Energy Services of America.

After it completed the extremely arduous SPAC process, it renamed itself Energy Services of America.

If it had not been able to complete it's initial two acquisitions, it would have been forced to disband, return it's money, and the warrants would have become worthless.

Most SPAC companies seem to failing recently.

I commented on ESA multiple times on Glenn Petersen's excellent SPAC thread

Through a lot of extremely hard work, ESA was able to turn itself into a regular company. The details of SPAC investing are becoming less important to ESA with every passing day (thank God). It would probably not be worth your while to take the time study them in detail, unless you really want to understand the history of ESA.
