In post 7831 Buster indicated some curiosity about Haley's comet. I'm not
sure what this has to do with investing. Could he perhaps have been using
this as some kind of discrediting innuendo? no... of course not.

Haley's comet DOES have some relationship to RMIL conceptually:

It is a beautiful once in a lifetime event. People who miss the opportunity
to see it are full of regret. It is a rare phenomenon, but because of
certain mathematical certainties, it's appearance is very predictable and
certain.

In this way it is a lot like RMIL. You don't want to miss it.
