when people lose confidence and trust in one another, their confidence in government increases. Thus, government failure that undermines confidence winds up reinforcing the demand for government! What we have here is a failure to communicate the truth of the Capitalistic system to our children over the last 50 years. Ever since the Liberals totally took over the educational system in the '60s, they have been selling socialism in the Social Studies section of K-12. And all divisions of of College level Liberal Arts divisions. On top of that, our Conservative Elite are a bunch of "Capital-buts." They are saying, "I'm all for Capitalism, but ya gotta....." It's a wonder we aren't a "Europe" already.
