Okay TBG, looks like all the bandits are over here, feeling their way around, unsure of the world, themselves and what next. Perhaps guiltless, but confused often enough. Even apart from picking long term stick with it winners, they get into short term trading to add to their mental confusion.
So far, we have got your 2 emotions, jfred came up with some from Mike, I added my bit and Streamer Girl has explained succinctly how other emotions fit together. So far it is as sincere as mud. Just focussing on your two, love and fear. I'd make it attraction and fear. Attraction to all the creating aspects, fear of the destructive. Sometimes the two go hand in hand. The need for food, but there seems to be a lion or two to get past first. Thirsty, but there are crocodiles feeling the need for dinner in the pond. The need for sex, but the fear of the consequences. The attraction to somebody, but fear of the unknown, the fear of loss.
Was your dead friend one of the New Zealand team? Was it the guy who the New Zealander stayed with in case he could help - but died too. Some New Zealanders are pretty solid friends. They stick around. Even at cost to themselves and personal hurt, they'll help their friends get what they want.
It takes courage to make changes. Some I've made easily - quitting Europe for family life, quitting Canada for New Zealand and jobs for the same reason as you, and quitting work in the interests of freedom. Other changes I find more difficult. Today, I've given today to me. I might give some more to me. Father's day today. I've listened to new music today - great. My very own "One Tree Hill" - U2.
Wandering away from love is pretty emptying I find. Sometimes it can just evaporate quietly. |
