Re Don Coxe - The US gov. will never issue a statement re price of gold. FDR had people around him advising re gold price fix. I doubt whether you can find any economist of importance on right or left who is talking re US gov interfering re market price of gold. If you can, then I stand corrected. If some one can find any one around new president advising re change in gold then I will become a believer.
