my complicated wife really and truly understands simple me. i was a few moments ago sipping my starbucks and cruising the net, and then, suddenly, i rise, announcing, 'be right back' with car key in hand and nearly out the door. 'where are you going?' 'buy national geographic' 'why (like ... who still buys paper magazine?), there is an article on gold?' and i stopped, frozen to the staircase, and laughed uncontrollably. here it is, the cover story (i wanted the paper copy to feel): ngm.nationalgeographic.com cheers, tj p.s. btw, i am all for the shutdown of all gold mines, but only after i manage to unload my gdx at some unholy value, although i do not see how outlawing gold trade can improve the human condition. it will simply make all the creatures of the planet slave to fiat money inflation.
