Nope. I'm no pacifist, but I'm also not eager to stick our big beak into every fight between other nations. I don't want my money used that way. I want my money to go first and foremost to helping Americans. Forgive me for not wanting my tax dollars to go to Iraqis or the latest enemy du jour. I'd rather my grandkids get broadband and all the latest technology, plus the very best teachers at their schools. That would be a better use of our money. I can think of a thousand other ideas how our money could be better spent than in defending South Koreans as well.

If you want to empty your wallet saving the world, go ahead. But don't drag the rest of us into your bankruptcy plans. Americans have as much as or more need for our largess than other countries, especially now when we're hurting so much.

If you are so altruistic and charitable with my money, why is it that you don't think about the Americans that need the helping hand? So much for your vaunted GOP patriotism.
