Most Brazilians illegally in the USA got in on a visa so they were selected middle class on up.They were opportunists.When the going was good they stayed.Now things are bad they leave.It has been easy to predict their movement.Some Brazilians stay:those who are poor and came via Mexico,those who are fearful and seek safety above all,those who are researchers and cant get enough of the real thing in Brazil,some women who get no attention in Brazil but get a lot here,etc...We all try to maximize our happiness.Much less happiness to go around these days in the US
