Agreed. However, in the short run, my own personal nirvana would be if the US could become energy independent, especially oil independent. That would alone would reap enormous monetary and other benefits for this country. Getting to 100% clean energy to me is a longer term goal, also important, but maybe not achievable in the next 20 years, whereas 100% energy independence is achievable in the next 20 years, if we but had the will to do it.
