See, to me, it's like a bunch of people sitting around talking, and almost everybody laughs at a joke but someone doesn't get the joke.

So, is the person who told the joke required to explain it?

I think not. And I never do.

It's just a conversation-killer. The moment passed. Let it go.

Sometimes the guy who didn't get the joke insists on having it explained to him. But when you get to know the guy, he's either kinda weird or has a chip on his shoulder.

You know the type. Take themselves way too seriously.
