googlemaps adds message: "loading slowly? try useless basic html googlemaps" Well not exactly. It really reads "loading slowly? try basic html" Translation: our Web 2.0 "upgrade" code is so bad we had to add a reversion to really basic crap. It is pretty impressive that they can detect code that isn't working on a remote computer though. It never ceases to amaze me how great technology companies like AltaVista, Amazon or Google can take a fabulous basic product and enhance it into non-usability for no coherent reason.
