IDF has effective countermeasures against IEDs. A lot has been learned about how to defend against them.

They also have access to some of the vehicles our military uses -- MRAPs/RG31, Buffalos, others.

I don't know whether they would use them until IEDs became a problem, but they're there if they need them.
