YOur overall point is of course correct. But lets not forget the pals voted for hamas. What they didnt vote for was the provacation of a war with israel that the pal people would bear the brunt of. Dont you agree with that part of it. I dont want anyone to suffer, but suffer they will until the rockets stop falling on israel. A few months ago they started to reign down on israel. This response was inevitable. Again, i am a bleeding heart who has to reconcile my anti-war views with a nations obligation to protect its people. I have thought about this long and hard. If israeli settler were lobbing rockets on arab towns across in the west bank, the west bankers woujld have every right to attack them.
