Thanks BJ. No idea if R crosses blood-brain barrier, and could well be the company has no clue either at this stage. My take on the migraine possibility is that it would develop the same way it did for beta blockers, calcium channel blockers and anti-epileptics - some enterprising neurologist uses the drug off-label, and if successful, the usage diffuses more widely. A few cases (like Inderal and Topamax) have proceeded to the next step of a company-sponsored trial and a new label. Peter
