Hitler ignited his economy by a direct injection of cash into his system and it worked for awhile. Building the Bundesautobahn created thousands of jobs and building factories to build heavy equipment created still more thousands of jobs and prepared him for war. This war created artificial economies for everyone who refused to be vanquished by it. Special taxes were imposed to pay for the war that were supposed to be dropped after the wartime effort but allied government economies were so addicted to this new found pot of gold the taxes stayed and were added to. Our politicians are working tirelessly to solve economic problems that they created and I'm confident we will see a complete collapse of world economic trade within three years.
