Just because Hitler did something does not necessarily make that action a bad thing. He became popular in Germany because of several things he did correctly. The Nazi party was not one of them nor his inhumane methods and dictatorship.

I have read all sorts of crapola, even on SI, how if Hitler did it, it must be bad. It's used as a rabble rousing method to blame all ills on some (probably good) idea.

The German economy was crippled with hyperinflation by the time Hitler took charge of the Chancellery in 1933. A key economist back then was Hjalmar Schacht, and we might all need to learn from him as he lead Germany from being a destitute state into a thriving economy in just a few years. Minus the rearming, blackshirts, nazis, and WW3 of course! Plenty of better things to do.
