BS, being, allegedly, groped in a train, is quite different from being attacked, raped, beaten, knifed and killed in a park.
In fact, women around the world would quite like to have women-only carriages. Being pushed bodily against sweating, smelling, random strangers in London doesn't thrill them either, though I admit the experience didn't upset me in the slightest when I did time jammed in London tubes [and I'm sure I wasn't unduly sweaty or smelly]. Women never said to me, "Oh, this is nice, being jammed up against you". I suspect their preference would have been women-only.
I doubt that many instances of groping occur on Japanese trains and I'd bet that zero injury to females has occurred, unlike to females walking alone in random parks across USA/UK/NZ where females know they should NOT do so.
