With the BEST of intentions, Les! I always had the idea that even HFH houses had to pass inspections, but, maybe that's done by volunteers too?

Personally, I think Jimmuh would be better off doing some sort of prefab deal than building on site. Get some hotshot architects to design some standard, easy to snap together modular things. As a guy who knows how to do that stuff, I cringe whenever I see HFH volunteers building a house on TV. People wearing gloves, hard hats and goggles, holding hammers two inches below the heads - to me, it just looks like a Chinese fire drill.

But, nobody else is stepping up to do it. More power to 'em.
