Just a note, MS at this point does not offer any high-end business applications(client/server or network). I don't see them getting involved in this area. It generally takes a good direct sales force(which they don't have) or it takes a solid indirect distribution channel(which they don't have for this type of product either). I really wouldn't worry about $Bill on this score, unless he was going to guy someone. It would also run in the face of their NT efforts which are to try to get every major application developer behind NT. If MS gave off vibes of becoming an application developer themselves it would shoot much of this in the head...
