The biggest problem is not even SS, it's medicare. The reason,
however, is that 8% cost increases are projected way into the
future. There is one simple solution to this problem - the
doctors just have to be paid less, since nobody can really
afford medical care anymore. They charge at least 10x the cost
for prescription medications and the care itself. Nationalizing
US medical care is not such a bad idea - many countries have
done that, with results not so bad. Insurance companies get
overcharged anyway. -g-
