Yes, but miners dropped some 70% March through November.
This thread was barfing loud. HUI rallied some 100% since
October lows. Gold is technically
going through the bear phase of the 9-year cycle, currently
trading at about 200 MA, and I just don't know if it ends
now or in August this year. Typically these last some time,
about 2-3 years, but the Fed has been quite careless with the
printing press. I am overweight miners because they are
cheap relative to gold, but they are also very volatile.
Not so worried about the physical, but I believe we
may be in for another ride down. I have little doubt gold
will trade well above 1000 in 3 years, but it very well could
see 600-s this year. I do think miners have seen the lows.
