hoping as well. Tough to watch this loss of life.

Michael

One gets the sense that Obama is paralyzed. It is very difficult to understand his reluctance to speak out given his willingness to do so on other issues. The "one president at a time" is the right answer, of course, but it is CONSISTENTLY the right answer, not just when it is convenient to avoid the question.

The loss of life is tragic, but it is tantamount to suicide. These people do it to themselves when they elect a terrorist government, when they stand by and support attack after attack against their neighbor, and when they brainwash their children to become hate-filled terrorists. It is unfortunate, but these people may have to die to bring peace to the region. Lots of them. A lot more than a few hundred.

If the Israelis can get a few years of peace like they did in the North, that's all they can do.

If this gets Netanyahu elected, which hopefully it will, Israel will become more aggressive about protecting itself and hopefully, avoid some of these casualties in the future. The Palestinians will know with certainty that these rocket attacks will be met with harsh responses.
