The Israelis took the land away from the Palestinians, who have lived on and worked that land far longer than the Jews, and made it their own Jewish state. Jews have worked that land for 3700 years. the Israelis have put the Palestinians in refugee prisons/zoos and set themselves up as wardens. Not surprisingly, the Palestinians don't like it and want to be free. The Israelis left Gaza, they control their border as they have the right to do. Egypt controls it's border with Gaza as they have the right - seems no one likes Hamas and they collectively have choked free movement and supplies as leverage to try to modify their behaviour - hasn't worked - so now we're here.
