Obama notes that it is not a good idea to ideologically state that coal is a bad thing and should be done away with. He notes that, at the time, China was building a new coal plant once a week. From a purely practical standpoint, coal isn't going away anytime soon.

He notes that there needs to be something done about pollution and that a market solution is better than the government picking winners and losers.

If you dump garbage onto the street YOU will pay for its removal or do you think your neighbors should all have to chip in and remove it? I'll bet YOU think they should right? Right wingers NEVER pay their own way, they only know how to TAX and STEAL from others.

Obama also notes that this type of thing provides money for and encourages innovation. Jeepers, what a thought that we could innovate our way out of these problems.

He noted that if we can find a way to deal with nuclear waste, nuclear is a possibility as well. So what?

Your solution is what? Nothing?

You right wingers do nothing of use to the rest of us. You stick your thumbs in your ears, close up your brain and DO NOTHING. Obama is proposing doing something which is to let the market operate and find solutions.

Oh yeah, you people have been polluting this world for a very long time. Nice bit of economic growth that has gotten us or are you going to blame the possibility of GD II on fuel efficiency standards?
