Hawk, I have first hand knowledge on the supply of engineering talent in the US. Before the recession hit - last spring we simply could not get engineering talent. Work we could not do domestically we sought help to complete with off shore resources. Getting on site help from a foreign country is hugely difficult - even if the people are within your own company. The problem is that come a recession - engineering talent is as subject to layoff as any other segment of the economy. We need to allow immigration of engineering/science professions or the work will be done offshore. Bob
