Totally concur. As I've mentioned before, I am involved with a Japanese gal who has been required to pay thousands of dollars to maintain her H-1B status, and if facing $10K to apply for a green card. College educated, trained as a broker/compliance officer, and working as an accountant.

But the illegals seem to get so much sympathy that no one gives a crap about her situation enough to encourage her to remain here.
