TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Quartz-miner Black Bull Resources has become the latest miner to inform shareholders that it will investigate its strategic options, as the current economic environment weighs on cash flow.

The company will consider options that include the “cessation of most or all operational activities” until markets strengthen,” the Nova Scotia-based firm said on Monday.

“We will be exploring several alternatives and we will be reporting these findings to the shareholders in the near future,” said president and CEO Rick Shearer.

"In the meantime, the company remains open for business and continues to investigate opportunities for our quartz and kaolin resource."

Black Bull's flagship White Rock property, near Shelburne, Nova Scotia, hosts a large resource of high-quality quartz, kaolin, and mica minerals.
