What is the point of terrorizing civilians with rocket launches. There is no benefit to suicide bombings either. This has become an acceptable means of doing battle. Guess what, it is getting no sympathy from anywhere in the world...as the world views them simply as cowardly terrorist attacks(which is EXACTLY what they are). You and I view these events from a western perspective and from a power position so to us they are a terrible means to do battle. However, the Palestinians have very little with which to fight the Israelis so they fight with what they have trying to make as big an impact as possible. As Americans, we could ride into Tel Aviv and kick ass. As Palestinians, the best they can do is be a thorn in the side of Israel. The muslim world for some reason continually calls such people, martyrs. Any deliberate attacking of civilians will always be a terrorist act by tthe rest of the world. I don't understand why these guys don't get it. All i read about is how the mothers of suicide bombers are so proud of their sons' brave acts. Unbelievable! Again, you are viewing this from a western prism. Most of the Middle East suffered under the colonial yoke of the western powers for decades some times centuries. They view themselves as victims and the lesser of the Europeans....and they are treated that way when in Europe. So standing up to western powers is seen as an example of heroics. At the same time, most Middle Eastern nations are ruled by a dictatorial strong man who they dare not upset. So they do the next best thing.....rail at foreign powers. Israel can claim that the civilian in Gaza are not being targeted. ...and I believe them. So, they win that argument. Nope. Too many photos are coming out showing civilian victims. What the Palestinians need to do is fight a 21st century battle. Very large peaceful protests (and none of that gunfire into the air we often see on TV). That was done decades ago....it got them no where. Israel does not want to let go of its 'colonies'. In the internet/satellite TV age, they can win the battles and force the Israelis into retreat leading to a good peace deal. This is the only way the Palestinians can win. I believe the Israelis will be happy with that kind of "loss". Israel controls everything and has America as an ally. Its very hard for them to overcome that advantage.
