the crisis is all Putin generated. Russia pays Ukraine transit fees and the revenue form the transit fees more or less covers for the gas Ukraine uses.

Now Russia wants 30% more for their gas but refuses to pay more for transit fees.

Extraction cost of NG is the same and transit costs are the same - more or less.

If Russia was paying 30% more for transit fees the whole issue would not arise, but because paying more transit fees will lower Russia’s net revenue from gas exports Putin wants only one sided deal - which is actually screwing Ukraine so that Russia will get more money

Putin and his gang are a bunch of mafia type criminals and worse with no place in leading any country – When the EU, China and the US will wake up to this they will realize the severity and danger of having this gang in power in Russia
