Agree, major disturbance in The Force, one which is almost visible.

Things should be OK with gold, but it is falling as the markets get worse.

I am on record saying that the expected 1Q rally will be cancelled because of daunting unemployment numbers. Whither gold in the short term? Who knows.

In reviewing last year, I noted that I made some stupid trades because I was spooked by the volatility. Nothing wrong with the way I looked at things, which was on the whole bang on, but the way I reacted was not that great. My New Year's resolution is to fix that aspect of things.

The disturbance in The Force is damn near palpable so we'll see how far my new-found resolution lasts.
