Costayaco 24 well drilling program. The link shows Gran Tierra's drilling, field development, and environmental permit for 18 new wells, C7 - C24 for a total of 24 wells into Costayaco. This 24 well permit indicates that GTE believes the Costayaco oil field is a big one. Wells C1 - C4 are producing between 2,000 - 3,000 bopd from only two zones - current production is co-mingled from the Villeta T and Caballos zones. The oil from the Villeta U and Rumiyaco is not being produced at the current time, this oil will be produced at some future time. Production infrastructure is currently limited to 25,000 bopd, but will increase after the completion of the phase 2 pipeline, from Costayaco to Orito.
