The official teams are indeed scary though it appears that Obama knows a few previously unmentionables which he is now putting on front burner, PR-wise perhaps, like social Security and medicare. His plan is to expend lots of his political capital early on. God help him. Logic-test this with me: Inflation, check; bad inflation, check; borrow to the prudent limit - why not if paying in inflated currency? Buy $1 worth of asset, pay with discounted and depreciated currency. Seems ....prudent?
