Latinvest does not give a time period for the "bluesky potential".They stated that any further increase in Iodine prices will feed directly into earnings.I quote"Increased iodine substitution for other products-and not growing demand for purely cyclical reasons -is where the bluesky potential for this stock lies.A potentially significant new application for iodine has been identified in the so -called Flouroiodocarbons(FICs)chemical groups.FICs are a new generation of efficient,safe and environmentally benign replacements for ozone depleting compounds(CFCs).They also mention that Atacama could also double its production of sodium sulphate at very low cost,thereby enhancing earnings and cashflow.
