Not as long hours as I was. My bankruptcy paralegal is now very well trained, and they are not giving me any new domestic cases, so I am just finishing off the ones I had from before.
Also, we had a changing of the guard vis-a-vis domestic lawyers, we hired (on my recommendation) a very competent and experienced lawyer who is much more efficient than the one who quit. We needed two and a half domestic lawyers and now we only need two.
As you might surmise, I was the "half", so that's a big relief.
Pets are a lot of fun, especially very smart pets like dogs and cats. My kitty, Kiwi, is enjoying having both boys home for Christmas. They're going back to school this weekend and she will miss them when they're gone.
Nick says yesterday she scratched at his bedroom door, then when he opened it she meowed at him until he followed her into my room, then she jumped on the brushing table and meowed at him until he brushed her. She does like to be brushed. |
