Yes, but that was the least important point in my post.

His policies have been in effect less than eight years. Maybe 7 for those that could be implemented quickly, and as little as 5 for some tax changes.

And whatever time period you pick, your methodology or idea of "subtracting out the temporary gains" is faulty.
