Los Tules is wonderful. It's an oasis. Just steps from the beach. It's on the main drag into town, with bus service. A lot of Mexicans vacation there. It's not a gringo resort. There are 7 pools and shady places to sit and read. Best part - there's a Corona store right across the street. One has to have priorities, after all. Word has it the resort was built from drug money in the 70s. I have no idea if it's true.
