You can't mix up percentages with down percentages, it's apples and oranges.

SSO is up 61.08% off its bottom to its recent high and the S&P 500 is up 27.37% in the same period (2.23X)

UWM is up 87.24% and the Russell 2000 is up 39.78% in the same period. (2.19X)

QLD is up 54.41% and it's index is up 28.57% in the same time period (1.9X)

Each one is up approximately 2X the index and on average all three are up 2.11X. They will never be exact because people use the EFT funds to hedge their long or short positions and you will have extremes at both the highs and lows that won’t match the index exactly.

That’s pretty close if you ask me.
