And so, you conclude, that without the IBM PC, there would not have been a PC revolution? Please, be serious.

The IBM PC was not an innovation. It was not anything special. It was merely a big brand belatedly committing to something that everyone already knew was coming!

This reasoning on your part may be one of the more ridiculous things I've ever heard of. IBM has totally blundered its way through the PC business. To date, they have never built a decent PC and they sure as hell haven't been creative in any sense of the word.

I'm going to assume you're joking because you cannot possibly be serious.
