Terry, I bought at the bid today. It was not rntk but another stock. It happens with Datek occasionally. I believe the way they do it is through the Island system which they operate. Trades placed with Datek go to the Island system and if the order can be filled there it will be filled outside of the NASDAQ. It pisses MMs off but that is too bad. If someone has a sell order for 1000 xyz at 5 in the island and you place an order to buy 1000 xyz at 5 Datek will execute that order. Don't know about other brokers but I had one where in the past that wasn't very good at executing limit orders but always executed market orders a little above the spread. Needless to say I don't use them anymore. Good luck, MD
