You're probably right. The 5-year stuff still has a long life. Guess we have to wait for the next set of official figures, and the next. We won't have a picture of what's happening now until late 2009.

Something that would be nice to know - but probably, never will be revealed - is what the default rate would have been both with, and without intervention. Anecdotally, default rates for October Lehman auction were low - but has anyone seen official figures?
