I've only bought 2 Mercedes, and that is because I can't afford one now.
In my opinion no one should ever slam Mercedes if they haven't owned one.
They have an entirely different approach to building their vehicles.
Their vehicles have more integrity in their windsheild wipers than any American company has in their entire car or other product.

In my history of owning them they have shown me how fast I can slow down, how good they operate, how extremely safe they are in an accident, how not-full-of-shit they are, and how long they can last without phony baloney features that appeal to fools.

I say that if you're going to spend $30k+ for a thing with 4 wheels you should always buy a Mercedes, even if it is used, but in good condition.

Those Germans make vehicles made for folks who want to live, and at thymes drive like banshees. Never piss off a Mercedes driver, ever. They can stop in front of you faster than you can stop. They can, if pissed off run your whackadoodle vehicle off the road, and they also start in really cold weather.
Their batteries are state of the art, and their interiors don't play mind games with you.

In closing I think that all of you posters should get together and buy me a 2002 model that is maybe blue or maroon.
Thanks in advance.
