The heat exchanger in our 12 yo furnace burned out yesterday. It's been pretty darn chilly inside last night and all day...hopefully the repair man can get one tomorrow and fix it...but as of now, when and where he gets one is unclear. We're both really glad it didn't happen a couple of weeks ago when it was REALLY cold... but never was as cold as -14 below.... Even so, the prolonged freezing weather has damaged many of our plants...including two wonderful big bronze flax plants in front....
