"The slowdown we see now means that Solar Cycle 25, peaking around the year 2022, could be one of the weakest in centuries," says Hathaway.

Hathaway is a really sharp guy that I've followed for over 14 years and I have read many of his reports over those years. Cycle 25 "might" be lower and we just have to wait and see. Solar prediction in the past has not been very good and I wouldn't hang my hat on just one announcement. The body of science on determining cycle strengths is still pretty weak.

Right now cycle 24 is late. Generally when this happens it is much stronger than the previous cycle.

We certainly don't need to inject the fear-mongering of pseudo-science that is bent upon touting the cult of man-caused global warming.

I am interested in a number of the sciences and realize that we don't have all of the answers. I'm beginning to feel that you "think" you have all of the answers. Unfortunately that is not a scientific mind.

"Mother Nature" is a far more powerful force of global climate change than anything humanity can perpetrate.

Well we have already changed the way the earth spins on it's axis. With the filling of the Three Gorges Dam's reservoir it has introduced a very measurable wobble. I think that is pretty significant.
