All I can say is this. While I have no children, I have worked with children. During a few college summers, I was on the recreation staff of our local parks system. I taught dance & rhythms, travelling around to all the parks in our jurisdiction. I also *coached* at various parks on off days, which entailed watching the little kids in the wading pools, passing out equipment, and generally keeping an eye out so that kids were basically okay.

Based on my experience, the girls were a lot easier to deal with.

Then again, most were under 13......:-)
